My name is Dianne Reed, certified massage therapist, and owner of Walnut Creek Massage. I have worked in the health care field for more than twenty years as a registered dental assistant, and began doing body work in 1998.
My interest in massage developed while I was in school for manicuring. Although the repetitive nature of manicuring was not to my liking, I really enjoyed the massage aspect of manicure and pedicure. I also liked learning about the human body, especially muscles and bones.
I hadn’t considered massage as a career until I received a letter in the mail from the American Institute of Massage Therapy. I signed up and loved it. What I love most about massage is helping people feel better and move better.
I specialize in many modalities and keep up with the newest techniques by taking continuing education classes at the McKinnon Institute in Oakland, California.
